health, We are greatly looking forward to a litter from Ruth (Mastamariner White Ensign) to Woody (Bekkis Virtuoso). Ruth is a daughter of Hercules (Mastamariner First Sea Lord) and Deborah (Mastamariner Tjorven), she is a grand daughter of Cider (Caristan Cider of Mastamariner) and Merry (Caristan Merridown of Mastamariner), this is a repeat mating of Ruth and Woody and we have been delighted by the wonderful calm temperaments and gentle characters of Ruth and Woody's puppies.
Ruth As well as his previous puppies with Ruth, Woody has sired litters to Esther (Mastamariner Corvette), Ruth's sister Rachel (Mastamariner Wavy Navy) and to Ruth and Rachel's half sister Britannia (Mastamariner Britannia), we have been delighted with the quality, type and temperament, willingness and conformation of the puppies and we confidently expect Puppies from this litter to grow into outstanding Border Collies. Woody is a Grandson of Show Champion Bekkis Kitemark and Show Champion Bekkis Genesis. Grandson of Show Champion Brooksbid Country Classic. Son of Sh.Ch. Grandver Master Copy, nephew to Deborah and Esther.
Woody Woody has a very kind and gentle temperament coupled with excellent working drive and outstanding conformation, he is Crufts qualified for life has been awarded 4 Reserve Challenge Certificates in the Show Ring and achieved the highest standard in the demanding discipline of Working Trials. Deborah We are not commercial breeders, we care very deeply about
the homes in which our puppies will live. Before enquiring about puppies

are very choosy about where we place our puppies.
Hercules We only allow our puppies to go to loving, permanent homes with daytime company and lots of fun and affection. We only consider homes where children are older (at least 12 years or above) so that there will be time to be dedicated to the care and nurturing of a new family member and where a puppy will valued as an individual. We favour homes that have previous experience of dog ownership and who understand the time and commitment needed to fulfill the expectations and needs of a young dog. Show Champion Bekkis Kitemark Enquiries are welcome from loving, permanent homes with daytime company and lots of fun and affection. We only consider applications from homes where any children are older (12 years or above) and favour those prospective owners who currently, or have previously owned, dogs.
Bekkis Rhapsody Please note that we do not sell puppies as potential show, working or breeding "stock" and all our puppies are registered with breeding and export restrictions to protect them, we do not make exceptions to this rule, and do not give any undertaking to remove such endorements. Puppies are never available to homes where there is no human company for them during a significant proportion of the day.
These puppies will be raised in our
home in a, stimulating, loving, clean, safe environment, they will
be Kennel Club Registered, microchipped, eye tested, health checked,
thoroughly wormed, insured, socialised with dogs, adults and children
and very well cuddled!
Show Champion Bekkis Genesis We offer unlimited
advice and help to our puppy owners both before and after puppy goes
home and we always take back any puppy or dog, of any age, that we
have bred who, due to changed circumstances cannot be kept.
Woody
Puppies are never available to homes where show, breeding and/or working are the overriding interest or where the family are absent during the day.

Blue Bitch from Ruth and Woody's previous litter Worming Ruth will be wormed daily with 5ml of Panacur since the 38th day of her pregnancy and will continue to be wormed at this dose until the puppies have completed their first worming at 2 weeks of age. The puppies will be wormed at 2, 4 and 6weeks of age. This programme is formulated to ensure that the puppies are born and remain free of worm infestation throughout their infant lives. We provide a Worming Certificate detailing each puppy's worming history and recommend an ongoing worming programme to enable new puppy owners to keep their new pets worm free for life.
Blue Tri Dog - from Ruth and Woody's previous litter
Border Collies may be susceptible to a number of diseases and abnormalities some of which may be inherited. It is never possible to guarantee that puppies will not suffer from health problems because although their parents may have been tested, some problems only appear later in life and may not be apparent until a dog or bitch has produced many offspring.
Blue Bitch - from Ruth and Woody's previous litter Some conditions are inherited recessively which means that although both parents may apparently be clear of a particular condition those same parents may carry the potential to produce the condition in their progeny. Although the information contained in this site is accurate and true to the best of our knowledge and reflects current thinking on health matters, we are breeders and as such not qualified to offer advice on health issues. The appropriate person to advise you on health matters affecting dogs is your veterinary surgeon. We require all prospective owners to consult a veterinary surgeon regarding potential health issues in the Border Collie before considering ownership of any puppy we breed.
